For this activity you will need:
Microsoft Excel
Use the data on the chart to create four bar graphs.
Print out each graph.
Mount the graphs on a sheet of poster board.
In your group, answer the following questions:
Compare weight and seed count. Do heavier pumpkins have more seeds?
Compare height and weight. Do taller pumpkins weigh more?
Compare circumference and seed count. Do fatter pumpkins have more seeds?
Is this statement true? Bigger pumpkins have more seeds than smaller ones. Explain your answer.
